APPEND-CWTPUSA Rebuild Project

On December 16, 2021,  super typhoon Odette (Rai) devastated the houses and businesses of more than 7.7 million poor in 11 regions of the Philippines.

In response, CWTP USA has agreed to partner with Append, a Filippino charitable, educational, social welfare development and civic service  corporation, to Rebuild, Strengthen and Transform family enterprises that were devastated by the typhoon.  In the process, we seek to help many come to know Christ!

The goal of the partnership, the APPEND-CWTPUSA Rebuild Project, is to accomplish three things:

  1. Rebuild the micro-enterprises of our 51,811 members with capital, insurance, savings facilities and skills training.
  2. Strengthen the micro-enterprise sector with digitization – providing digital finance ecosystem and e-commerce platforms.
  3. Transform the enterprising families towards adaptive and resilient communities with nature-based solutions for disaster and climate resilience courses.
If you would like to participate through donations, please donate to CWTPUSA (through any of the donate links on the website) and select “APPEND-CWTPUSA Rebuild Project” in the donation menu.  Donations marked for the project will be sent to the Append organization in the Philippines for the Rebuild Project.
